ANGEL's 5th annual Walk & Run

When: Saturday January 28th, 2012 9-1pm
Where: Wilmot High School Field House (It's indoors!)
What: 5Krun, kids fun run, 5k walk, large raffle, silent auction, and food ("to go" available)

All of the proceeds go to ANGEL, which give out grants to Wisconsin families with autism to be used on whatever treatments are working for their child.

This is a great opportunity for all families to raise funds for their own children (even out of state!)

Please contact Katie Hanson at 262-758-0731.

We are always looking for more ANGELS to help out and make this year's walk the best ever!

Every step counts! Changing Autism one step at a time!

Dr. Andrew Wakefield and I at Autism One 2010 Dr. Andrew Wakefield and I at Autism One 2010

Thursday January 6, 2011 I was contacted by all three TV stations wanting to do an interview about how I felt that Dr. Andy Wakefield was discredited and called a fraud. What I said that was not aired is that I am not anti vaccine, however I believe that child hood vaccines should be spread out over time. Infants should not get three or more shots all in the same day. I also said it would be nice if there could be single dose vaccines. So that measles, mumps and rebella could be given separately and not all at the same time in the MMR vaccine. I also mentioned about the blood test called Titers that could be done to see if the child already has antibodies that would show they did not need the vaccine. I shared with the reporters some of the hand outs I have at the support group each month. Educate before you vaccinate. Be informed, don't just do what others tell you to do. Make your own choice, think for yourself.
